When we first acquired the land in Adel Georgia, it came with an old, worn-down shop that we envisioned as the foundation for our business. Despite its tired appearance, we saw its potential and began the process of transforming it into a space that would reflect our dedication to quality and service. As we worked to set up shop, there was a sense of anticipation and excitement, eager to breathe new life into the old structure and create something new!
However, our plans took an unexpected turn when in January 2023 a tornado swept through the area and completely destroyed our building. It was a moment of disbelief and shock. We found ourselves with a mangled mess of metal and red iron beams. Despite the total destruction of our building, we knew that we had to move forward. We began the challenging process of cleaning up. In the meantime, God was showing us His plan for a better and new building for our future business.
While the storm was a natural event, we saw it as being orchestrated by God, who was partnering with us on our journey to ultimately bless us with a new building. As the new building began to take shape, it stood as a testament to His faithfulness, and a reminder that He is our refuge and strength in times of trouble. (Psalm 46:1-3). Although at first, it seemed like a total loss, God showed us that only He knows how to make good come out of something bad. We even shared a lighthearted joke about naming the business "Cyclone Power Equipment" as a nod to the tornado's impact on our business, but ultimately, we settled on "Prime Power," a name that reflects our commitment to excellence and resilience in the face of adversity.
